The Best and Most Cost-Effective Cocktails for Your Event

When you're planning the budget for catering, you'll find that most of the budget ends up going towards the alcoholic beverages. So what can you do when you want to serve booze without having to cover a larger bill than you would to pay? Try one of the following cocktails for your event.

Cape Codder

Vodka is one of the most cost-effective alcoholic beverages to serve. The Cape Codder is a mix of vodka and cranberry juice. It's a popular option, especially since cranberry juice is such a powerful flavor that it doesn't matter what the quality of the vodka is for the drink.

Bay Breeze

You can kick up the flavors in your Cape Codder by adding pineapple juice. The result is a Bay Breeze, which is also known as a Hawaiian Sea Breeze.

Lemon Drop

A Lemon Drop also uses vodka, but the result is a sweet and sour drink. Try mixing an ounce and a half of vodka, 3/4 ounce of lemon juice, and 1 teaspoon of sugar syrup. You can add lemon slice for a garnish, too.

Tequila Sunrise

Tequila can be more expensive, but a Tequila Sunrise doesn't require much of it. You can mix together 4 ounces of orange juice, 2 ounces of tequila, and a 1/2 ounce of grenadine. Then, you can use an orange slice and maraschino cherry as the garnish.
